RAMBAN: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Ramban, Harbans Lal today convened a meeting of Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates besides the police officers deputed for 4th phase of the District Development Council (DDC) election.
The ADC informed that 4th phase of DDC and Panchayat by- election is going to be held on 7th December in 2 DDC constituencies of Ukhral-A and Ukhral-B.
ACR, Dhirender Sharma, Dy. DEO, Lal Chand and various other senior officers from police and civil administration attended the meeting.
Threadbare discussion was held on all the issues including transport, security and communication plan besides departure of polling staff and other issues related to polling.
ADC emphasized upon the Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates besides police officers to work in-coordination for smooth conduct of polling.
Responding to the issues raised by officers deputed for election in different capacities, the ADC passed necessary directions to concerned to resolve the same without any delay.
