SHOPIAN: The District Youth Services and Sports Office Shopian today organised a Yoga Camp in Block Chitragam, Imamsahab of Shopian as part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav- Celebration, commemorating 75 years of India’s independence.
The District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Shopian, Gurmukh Singh Dutta was the Chief Guest and Tehsildar Chitragam was Guest of Honour on the Occasion.
Around 100 students, youth of the block participated in the Yoga event.
At the outset, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Shopian apprised the audience and participants about the ideas, achievements, actions and resolutions with respect to Azadi ka Amrut mahotsav.
He appreciated the role of Physical Education Staff in disseminating the information regarding initiative taken in national interest.
At the conclusion of the event the officials of District Youth Services and Sports department thanked all the stakeholders for making the programme a grand success.
