BUDGAM: Under the supervision and guidance of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Budgam (DLSA), Raja Shujat Ali Khan, DLSA Budgam in collaboration with the TLSA Chadoora and Charar-e-Sharief held an awareness programme at Gulsaha-e-Bannat , Gopalpora Chadoora on the eve of international Day for Girl Child.
The theme of this year’s is “My Voice-Our Equal Future”. The programme was presided over by Sub Judge Chadoora Manzoor Ahmad Khan and Chaired by Patron in Chief H&K Yateem Trust ZA Tak. The programme was attended by about 150 orphan girls of the Bannat Institution of Education.
Girl students of the institution made various presentations regarding the theme of the Day. Secretary DLSA Budgam gave a detailed power point presentation regarding rights of girl child and ways to stop abuse.
In his presidential address, Chairman TLSA Chadoora, spoke about the property rights of Orphans and how they can claim them.
The programme ended with a group song sung by girls of Bannat Educational Institution.
