KUPWARA: The Vice Chairman (V.C) District Development Council (VC-DDC), Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today visited Darpora and inspected ongoing construction of Darpora-Asthanbathoo road and allied links.
The V.C DDC was accompanied by the concerned engineers.
He was informed that the road is being constructed under NABARD at a cost of Rs.2.22 crore by the R&B department.
On the occasion, the Vice Chairman directed the concerned engineers to speed up the pace of work and complete the road and its links as early as possible adding that it was a long pending demand of the local people which is now being fulfilled.
