SHOPIAN: Two persons were injured after unknown gunmen fired upon them in Trenz village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday.
GNS news agency, quoting sources, reported that unknown gunmen fired upon Aijaz Ahmad Mir and Sheraaz Ahmad Malik.
Both the persons suffered injuries and were immediately taken to district hospital Pulwama where from they were referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, GNS quoted SSP Shopian Shailendra Mishra as having said.
