KARGIL:- The State Hajj Committee, in collaboration with the District Administration Kargil today conducted 2nd and final phase of training programme for the selected Hajj pilgrims of District Kargil at Conference Hall Baroo here today.
As many as 100 prospective pilgrims of the district were imparted training for this year’s pilgrimage by the representatives of the State Hajj Committee and Hajj Committee of India.
The Hajis were imparted practical training and information in detail about the Hajj rituals as well as logistic support.
The trainers gave thorough information and training to the pilgrims with regard to matters pertaining to boarding, lodging, accommodation, currency exchange and other activities to be performed during the pilgrimage. They were also briefed about important documents and luggage to be carried along.
Meanwhile Hajis expressed gratitude to the district administration for their cooperation and effective management in ensuring a successful and smooth pilgrimage for them.
