SRINAGAR: Faculty of Fisheries SKUAST-K organized a 7 days National Training Program entitled “Using ICT tools for recording online lectures” where different tools were discussed in order to achieve the objective of recording online lectures by faculty members.
Prof. Nazeer Ahmad, Vice Chancellor was the Chief Guest for the valedictory function today. Prof. M. H. Balkhi, Dean Faculty of Fisheries/ Director Education, SKUAST-K welcomed the guests and participants and also explained the relevance of such training programmes during COVID-19 crisis, Dr. N. A. Ganai, Director Planning and Monitoring/ PI NAHEP, SKUAST-K along with various heads of the divisions, scientists attended the program.
The overview of the program was given by Dr. Mudasir M. Kirmani, Organizing Scientist. Vice Chancellor highlighted the importance of using ICT in the present situation which has risen due to pandemic.
He appreciated the efforts of Faculty of Fisheries, ARIS SKUAST-K under the leadership of Prof. M. H. Balkhi in initiating the process of using ICT tools for development of e-content. The program ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Gohar B Wani, Coordinator NAHEP, FoFy, SKUAST-K.
