Training for Poll Staff held at Bandipora to ensure smooth Home voting experience

BANDIPORA: In preparation for the upcoming home voting process to be held on 14th, 15th and 16th of May in District Bandipora as notified by RO 1- Baramulla PC, a comprehensive training session was today conducted for poll staff at mini Secretariat Bandipora.

The training programme aimed to equip poll staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to facilitate seamless home voting procedures was presided over by ARO Assembly Segment 15-Bandipora (ACR) Shabir Ahmad wani.

Nodal officer Home Voting and Postal Voting Counter (Sales Tax Officer) Mehraj Wani deliberated on a range of topics including election procedures, ballot handling, communication strategies and other necessary tools used to facilitate Home Voting.

Wani emphasized strategies for providing assistance and ensuring accessibility to guarantee that every eligible voter can participate in the home voting process.

ARO 15-Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad Wani, emphasized to safeguard the integrity of the voting process and protect sensitive voter information.

He stressed on Home Voting Poll Staff to uphold ethical standards and impartiality throughout the voting process, maintaining the trust and confidence of voters.

He also emphasized on ensuring that every voter has the opportunity to exercise their democratic right with ease and convenience.

Among others, the training programme was attended by DLMTs, Poll staff for Home Voting and postal voting counter and other concerned.
