SHOPIAN: To contain the deadly outbreak of COVID-19 and to make necessary preventive measures, a training programme for volunteers was held today.
A large number of volunteers from Disaster Management Shopian participated in this training programme.
Nodal Officer for Covid-19 Shopian, Shahnawaz Ahmad stressed upon the volunteers that it is their duty to inform the district Administration about symptoms of COVID-19 found among anybody in their respective areas, so that the affected one could be cured well in time.
He said that district Administration is always on forefront to tackle any kind of situation and asked them to prepare the people for observing guidelines issued by the government from time to time so that the spread of Covid-19 can be controlled.
