Srinagar: A traffic cop got injured on Wednesday evening after being fired upon by suspected militants at Rajouri Kadal in Srinagar.
As per the official, the traffic cop was fired upon at Rajouri Kadal by suspected militants and following which the victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
However, the injured traffic cop is said to have received grave injuries in the attack and is as of now under treatment. The injured cop has been identified as Mohammad Abdullah.
After the attack, the security forces rushed to the spot of the incident.
