GWALIOR: Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar today said the three central agriculture laws would bring revolutionary changes in the lives of farmers, and made it clear that the government was ready to hold talks with the protesting cultivators, except on the demand for repeal.

Tomar claimed most parts of the country, most of the unions as well as farmers supported these laws.

His statement comes a day after BJP workers and anti-farm law protesters clashed in Ghazipur on the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border, in which some people from both sides suffered injuries.

The Agriculture Minister was speaking to reporters during an event at an agriculture university here.
