SOPORE: Three youth received injuries during clashes in Botingoo Zainageer area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
Reports said the clashes erupted as soon as the government forces deployed for elections were leaving the area.
They said the forces resorted to teargas shelling and pellets after they were pelted with stones, triggering clashes.
Reports said that three youth were injured in the clashes. They were rushed to a nearby hospital where from one of them, identified as Farhad Bhat of Botingoo, was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
