Three CRPF men, civilian injured in Srinagar grenade attack

SRINAGAR: Suspected militants hurled a grenade at Paramilitary Central Reserve Police Forces personnel at Fateh Kadal area of old Srinagar on Saturday, leaving three forces personnel and a civilian injured.

According to reports the grenade was lobbed at CRPF’s 82 battalion deployed for law and order duties in the area.

The area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers, reports said.

Meanwhile, police spokesperson said the injured were shifted to hospital for medical treatment.

All the injured have received minor injuries and are stated to be stable.

Police has initiated investigation in the instant matter.
