ANANTNAG: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla reviewed the implementation of State Marriage Assistance programme, here.
At the outset, the DC directed DSWO to hold awareness campaigns regarding the requirements as well as benefits of the programme.
Taking note of the extensive documentation required for processing applications, Dr Singla said that the new guidelines whereby only 4 documents are required must be implemented in letter and spirit so that the assistance is provided in a time bound manner.
He further said that all sanctioned cases must be uploaded on the portal to promote transparency and accountability.
The meeting was attended by ADC, PO ICDS, Dy. DEO and DSW among others.
