Srinagar: In the wake of Pakistan refusing to provide airspace to Srinagar-Sharjah flight, PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti alluded it as GOI’s halfhearted approach and said that it is only a PR extravaganza without any groundwork.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah had virtually flagged off the first international flight from Sriangar to Sharjah during his recent visit to UT J&K.

However, it came to know on Wednesday that Pakistan has denied the permission to Go First for using its airspace.

On the issue, former CM J&K Mehbooba Mufti took her twitter handle and said that “Puzzling that GOI didn’t even bother securing permission from Pakistan to use its airspace for international flights from Srinagar.”

“Only (a) PR extravaganza without any groundwork.” she added in her tweet.
