SOPORE: Police in its recent action against drug dealings in Sopore recovered psychotropic substances from a residential premise at Adipora Sopore.
Officers from Police Station Sopore acting on specific information raided the house of one person namely Rouf Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Hassan Mir resident of Adipora Sopore & recovered psychotropic substances.
Officers have recovered about 80 bottles of Codeine Phosphate.
Case FIR No. 188/2019 under relevant sections of law has been registered and initiated investigation in the matter.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt as per law.
