Shiv Sena protests, demands to fulfill the promises made with the public in 2019

JAMMU: Shiv Sena (Bala Thackeray) J&K Unit staged a strong protest demonstration against dispensation for deceiving people by not fulfilling any of the promises made with regard to UT J&K.Dozens under the leadership of party president UT J&K, Manish Sahni held a protest at the party office here today.

Sahni while addressing alleged that the government has betrayed the people of J&K and the entire nation. The promise after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A is still a distant dream and the government is mum on employment, development, economic growth, and above all peace in the region.

He said that the promise made by the government that people from across the country can buy property in J&K after neutralizing Art-370 has also been proved a practical joke as till date nothing of that sort has happened in the UT. He said that the statement of the Union Minister in Parliament claiming that only two persons from outside have bought the property in J&K speaks all about BJP’s bogus promises.

“Return of peace, jobs to millions and so many other assurances have been proved out to be mere political jugglery with no basis at all”.“The degradation of J&K from State to UT has hit hard the daily wagers as their jobs are at stake. Sahni appeal to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to take care of Jammu and Kashmir and implement all the promises on the ground.

On this occasion President Mahila wing Meenakshi Chibber, Gen secretary Vikas Bakshi, Geeta Lakhotra, Bhuri Singh, Balbir Singh, Pooja Rani, Tarsem, Rakesh Handa, Santosh Kumari, Parveen Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Arjun Kumar, Rajinder Kumar, and many others were present.
