Srinagar: Scores of sub-inspectors of Jammu and Kashmir police protest at Press Enclave Srinagar demanding immediate appointments.
Ashfaq Hassan one of the selected sub Inspector said that our selected list of J&K police sub Inspectors was published on 13th December 2018, then Honourable High Court put on hold the selection process of hundreds of Sub Inspector almost 473 posts and directed the authorities not to issue their appointment orders.
Challenging the selection of 473 Sub Inspectors, the non-selectees have approached the Court through their counsel, Now Honourable Court has directed the Home Department to issue appointments to 473 selected Sub-inspectors but unfortunately, they are not issuing the said appointments. We are shocked and surprised over the unduly created by the Home department in our Swift joining.
He further said we all are still waiting for our long pending joinings, Poor civilised highly qualified selected sub Inspectors have been deliberately compelled to strive the streets to demand their rights, he alleged.
Now we appeal Honourable Governor Satya Pal Malik and Home Department to allow us to Join Now, he added.
