POONCH: The State Hajj Committee in collaboration with the Haj Committee of India and district administration conducted 2nd phase of practical training cum orientation programme for the selected Haj pilgrims of the district here today.
As many as, 222 prospective pilgrims including 153 male and 69 female of the district were imparted training for this year’s pilgrimage by the representatives of the State Haj Committee and Haj Committee of India
The Hajis were imparted practical training and information in detail about the Haj rituals as well as logistic support.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav extende best wishes to the pilgrims for embarking on the sacred journey of life. He urged the prospective Hajis to pray for the progress, prosperity and welfare of the district and the state as well during the holy pilgrimage.
