KUPWARA: The Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Karnah, Dr Gulzar Ahmed Rather today inaugurated an awareness programme at Degree College, Tangdar.
The programme was aimed at to sensitize general public regarding COVID Containment measures, besides, inoculation and vaccination to general Public.
The inaugral function was attended by Sarpanches and Lumberdars of Sub Division Karnah and they were Instructed to make the masses aware about the jabbing so as to achieve 100 percent vaccination.
On the occasion, it was informed that 6716 People have already been inoculated in the entire sub division.
During the 2nd Phase Sampling Of 3083 individuals have been collected On RTPCR & RAT testings of 5871 taken.
Anganwari Workers as well as ASHA workers were also instructed to assist the field staff.
Officers of local administration were also present on the occasion.
