SHOPIAN: In order to finalise hiring rates of various rented accommodations by different Government departments, a meeting of Rent Assessment Committee (RAC) was held today with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmed Simnani in chair at Mini Secretariat Arhama, here.
During the meeting, total 08 cases were discussed by the Committee pertaining to various Government Departments including R&B, SFC, Handicraft, Social Welfare, Health, CA&PD and Sheep husbandry.
On the occasion, the Committee approved the rents for all the 08 cases put forth before the Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADC directed the concerned authorities to ensure that Government buildings are prioritized for official accommodation and rented buildings remain the last option.
Besides Chief Planning Officer, Shopian, Khursheed Ahmed Khatana, the meeting was attended by Superintendent Engineer, R&B, Chief Medical Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, District Sheep Husbandry Officer and other concerned.
