RAMBAN: District administration Ramban today conducted public outreach programmes under Block Diwas initiative at Sub Division Gool, Banihal, Ramsu, District headquarter Ramban and Tehsil Batote to take on the spot appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.
SDM Gool, Giasul Haq conducted a public grievances camp at village Harra of Panchayat Kalimasta. He also inspected the progress on various road projects along, with Tehsildar, XENs and Engineers of PMGSY, PDD, PWD, Jal Shakti and other departments.
The SDM gave a patient hearing to the public issues and ordered for redressal of many issues on the spot. He directed concerned officers to note the issues and demands put forth to address the same on war footing to provide relief to the locals who generally face many problems due to tough topography of areas.
Earlier, the locals highlighted their issues and demands seeking upgrading of road connectivity, start of work on Jaman –Gagra road via Kalimasta under PMGSY, stocking of ration, adequate staff in Health, Educational institutions, PDD and Jal Shakti departments to improve service delivery in far flung areas.
Similarly ADC, Harbans Lal presided the Block Diwas meeting at Ramban and resolved most of the issues on the spot. He directed the officers to reach out to the public for providing them benefits from all welfare schemes at their doorstep.
At Ukhral, a large number of locals put forth their grievances and other issues before the SDM Ramsoo, Dil Mir Choudhary. He assured them that all genuine demands will be redressed at an earliest.
