Pulwama: One unidentified militant has been killed in the gungight that brokeout between militants and government forces in Pinglish area of Tral in Pulwama district on Sunday.
Police sources confirmed that one militant has been killed in the gunfight so far.
“Operation is going on, ” the offcial said.
Earlier government forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the area.
Official sources said that the operation is being jointly conducted by the 42 RR and SOG Tral.
The operation was launched after receiving credible information about the presence of militants there.
“All the entry and exit points to the area have been sealed, ” Officials said.
