DHARAMSALA: Amid rising protests by students demanding permanent campus for the Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), the varsity administration today decided to suspend classes till March 2.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists organised protests outside the varsity’s temporary campus and the Registrar’s residence. They said the varsity students were facing difficulties in the absence of a permanent campus.

VC Kuldeep Agnihotri could not be contacted for comments, despite repeated calls on his mobile phone.
