DODA: Special Training was today held here for the Polling Staff for Phase-5 of District Development Council elections and Panchayat by- polls.
The training sessions for polling staffs for different phases is being organised under the overall supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO), Dr Sagar D Doifode.
The Master trainers imparted training to the polling staff in two separate sessions regarding the handling of ballot papers, ballot boxes, counting of votes in case of Panchayat by -elections, process of polling and collection of materials and other important process and procedures involved for conduct of smooth, free fair and transparent election.
The master trainers also gave demonstration on handling the ballot boxes and other process for smooth conduct of elections.
The master trainers also briefed the polling staff about their role and responsibilities and asked them to ensure that all instructions regarding poll day are implemented in letter and spirit.
The training was imparted to the concerned at two locations including Conference Hall of DC office and Town Hall of MC Doda.
The master trainers who imparted the training were Fayaz Mehta, Dr Akhter Hussain, Tahir Ashraf Wani, Jahangir Nawaz, Masood Khateeb, Rizwan Ahmed and Abdul Latief.
