Srinagar: Police on Saturday ordered inquiry and attacked the driver of a police vehicle which was deployed to distribute food packets in a BJP rally in Anantnag on Saturday.
A police handout said that the vehicle in was deployed for ferrying escort personnel of a protected person.
“ The vehicle has been withdrawn from said protected person and driver of the vehicle has been attached. Enquiry into the matter has been ordered under rules,” it added.
