KISHTWAR: In order to combat the spread of COVID-19, NHPC Dulhasti Power Project today donated 3000 pieces of triple layer single use masks, 110 pieces of N95 masks, 2000 pairs of gloves and 70 sets of Personal Protection Equipments (PPE ) to the Additional District Development Commissioner Mohd Hanief Malik for further distribution among the Frontline workers who are working 24×7 .
After handing over the material to ADDC, officials of NHPC said that they are still waiting for the supply of hand sanitizers for which order have been place by the corporation and once the delivery is received the same will be handed over to the district administration.
District administration is already distributing the factory made masks as well as the locally prepared reusable cotton masks among the masses as well as the frontline workers free of cost. The donation from the NHPC could ventilate the problem of district administration during current situation of high demand of masks.
The DM and ADDC Kishtwar have extended gratitude to the NHPC for this piece of help.
