Srinagar: To review the progress and extension of the Legal Literacy project to State Resource Centre (SRC) University of Kashmir, a high powered National Level Committee from Department of Justice, New Delhi, GOI visited the KU campus on Tuesday.
The committee which was headed by Dr. Shailesh Shrivastava Director, Dept of Justice, GOI had a detailed review meeting with the academic staff of SRC under the chairmanship of Prof. S. Mufeed Ahmad Director SRC.
The team also had an interaction with acting Vice-Chancellor KU Prof. Musadiq A Sahaf and Registrar KU Prof. Neelofar Khan during which they apprised the KU authorities about the purpose of their visit.
The KU authorities assured the visiting team that university will provide all the required support and full cooperation to ensure that all the activities and projects are completed well in time.
Mrs. Fozia Ashai Coordinator SRC presented the progress made so far and programme of activities to be conducted in future.T he team appreciated the efforts put in by SRC academic staff and progress made so far.
