SRINAGAR: A complete shutdown is being observed in poll-bound areas of Kashmir valley on the call of Joint Resistance Leadership.
While the Uri township of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district has witnessed more than 70 per cent polling till 2 pm, summer capital Srinagar and south Kashmir’s Anantnag town have recorded around 2 per cent voting till 2 pm.
JRL has called for election boycott and shutdown in poll bound areas in phase-III of Municicpal Polls.
