MUMKIN scheme: 70 unemployed youth sanctioned vehicle loan in Ramban

RAMBAN: District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) Ramban, for “Customized Livelihood Generation Scheme- Mumkin- New Possibilities” today selected 70 candidates out of 148 applicants for vehicle loan through draw of lots held in presence of Chairman of the Committee, (Deputy Commissioner) Mussarat Islam.

The unemployed youth will be provided financial assistance for purchase of small commercial vehicles. 

 The Selection Committee members comprising General Manager, DIC, Vishwajeet, as Nodal Officer, Assistant Director, District Employment Counselling Centre, Naresh Kumar; ARTO Shafqat Majid and Lead District Manager conducted the selection process in a transparent manner.

 The selected candidates will get a 10% discount each from the manufacturing company of the vehicle and Mission Youth i.e 20 % of vehicle cost or Rs.1.60 lakh, whichever is less.

The selected candidates do not have to give any guarantee nor margin money to the bank for buying a vehicle on loan.

While congratulating the selected candidates, the DC said that this process will be continued and very soon more youth will be selected for the loan. He urged the unemployed youth to avail such novel employment schemes of the government to earn their livelihood.
