SHOPIAN: Multifarious Activities are being conducted by various Departments of Shopian under the Jan Abhiyan programme to complete the set targets.
Since October 15 departments are conducting these activities in run up to fourth Phase of Back to Village programme.
Today continuing the trend, multifarious activities were conducted by all departments across length and breadth of the district to make the campaign more vibrant and effective in achievement of set Deliverables.
All departments have intensified efforts in order to eye Universal Coverage of Deliverables under the Abhiyaan.
Industries, Revenue, Health, School and Higher Education, Agriculture, RDD, Social Welfare Animal and Sheep Husbandry and other departments have taken lead in the campaign and have organised many programmes across the district.
Soil Health Cards, Golden Cards generation and distribution Camps have been organised alongwith Awareness Camps on Social Welfare Schemes, Women and Child welfare and Employment Generation schemes, My College, My Pride Cleanliness Drives by GDCs, Swatchh and Junk Free Hospitals, Block level registration camps for Artisans, Sports activities, popularisation of Digital Services, Awareness on Water Quality and Water Testing under JJM, Role of Pani Samitees were prominent activities done today.
All departments have been instructed by the District Administration to complete the desired targets set under the Abhiyaan before 26 October.
