Srinagar: Minor Clashes erupted in old city Srinagar amid rumors of scrapping of Article 35A and arrest of Jamat e Islami leadership in nocturnal raids on Saturday.
According to locals youth took to steets at nowhatta area of old city and clashed with the forces deployed in the area.
Eye witnesses said that the youth took to streets raising slogans against government over rumors of article 35-A and arrest of Jamaa’t leadership.
“Clashes erupted and stone pelting also happened,” eyewitnesses said.
