PULWAMA: Militants lobbed a grenade at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Tahab area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday, police said.
A senior police officer said that a grenade was hurled at the CRPF camp in Tahab area of Pulwama at 6:35 PM.
The grenade exploded with a bang, he said, adding that the CRPF troopers on duty retaliated by firing at the militants.
The militants, however managed to escape from the spot.
Following the attack, army’s Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF troopers rushed to the spot and launched searches to nab the attackers.
