NEW DELHI: The government informed Parliament that cyber volunteers were being roped in only for the purpose of assisting law enforcement agencies.
Replying to a question in Rajya Sabha, MoS for Home G Kishan Reddy said: “The ‘Cyber Crime Volunteer Framework’ has been rolled out as part of the cyber hygiene promotion, as per which citizens can contribute in the fight against cyber crime.”
