AAP’s MLA Vishesh Ravi tests coronavirus positive

NEW DELHI: Member of Legislative Assembly from Karol Bagh, Vishesh Ravi has tested positive for COVID-19, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA informed on Saturday.

Ravi, who is the third-time MLA from the party, wrote on Twitter, “I had fever from last one or two days, as per doctor’s advice I went for COVID-19 test. The report on Friday said I have tested positive.” “With god’s blessings, the health is fine but due to mild symptoms I have home quarantined myself,” Ravi added.

In recently conducted Delhi elections, Ravi won against BJP’s Yogender Chandoliya from Karol Bagh by a margin of 31,760 votes.

In 2014 Assembly elections Ravi won from the same constituency with a margin of 32,880.
