SRINAGAR: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday visited senior National Conference (NC) leader Mian Altaf’s residence in Kangan to offer condolences on the demise of his daughter.
Mehbooba expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the deceased.
On Friday evening, Benazir Altaf, the elder daughter of Mian Altaf, passed away after prolonged illness at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura, Srinagar.
Benazir is survived by two minor sons, aged seven and five.
