National Lok Adalat held at Kathua

KATHUA: As many as 37 cases  including 8  Criminal compoundable cases , 01 Complaint u/s  138 NI Act, 28 other cases were settled here at the National Lok Adalat held in the premises of District Court Complex Kathua under the overall supervision of  Kamlesh Pandit, Incharge Chairman District Legal Services Authority, (Addl. District & Sessions Judge).

 A total 50 cases were taken up bt two benches   constituted to hear the cases.

 Additional District & Sessions Judge,  Kamlesh Pandita  and  Special Mobile Magistrate Kathua,  Anjana Rajput constituted the first bench, while  Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sandeep Kour and District Mobile Magistrate, Brij Raj Singh were part of the second bench.

Besides, Lok Adalats were also organized by Tehsil Legal Services Committees Hiranagar,  Basohli,  Bani, Billawar and  Mahanpur.

A fine  of Rs.1,01,000 was also realized.
