SRINAGAR: In view of continuous closure of Srinagar Jammu National Highway,
“We the local Air ticketing agents forum of Kashmir valley would like to extend our helping hand to all stranded passengers at Jammu. We have decided to offer tickets at flat rate of 2500-3500 as against the online fares of INR 10,000-20,000 for Jammu to Srinagar sector only,” President Kashmir Tickets Agents Forum (KTAF) Mohammad Suhail Dar told Street Times.
This Initiative is taken and sponsored by all ticketing agents of valley who have pooled their stock and also 100 seats are available for travel dates of 18th Feb to 28th Feb 2019.
“This particular offer is valid only for Patients, senior citizens aged above 60 years, and for those people who fall in senior citizen category & are from weaker sections of the society like BPL families. It must be noted this offer will be extended to people who are standard at Bust Stand Jammu or at Gurduwaras etc. Tickets will be issued only after proper verification and seats will always subject to availability,” Dar said.
He also added “Those senior citizens who have the accommodation at Jammu and are in comfortable position are requested not to apply for this and let those senior citizens who are stuck at Bus stand and Gurduwara’s and other places avail this offer”.
