SRINAGAR: The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday appointed Khurshid Ahmad Ganai as an advisor to Governor N N Vohra.
“The Governor of Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to appoint Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, IAS (Retd.) as an advisor with effect from the date he assumes charge,” said an order, issued by the General Administration Department.
Ganai had resigned from the coveted position of chief information commissioner on Thursday evening to pave way for his appointment as the third advisor to Vohra.
