SRINAGAR: Dozens of students of Kashmir University (KU) on Wednesday held funeral prayers in absentia for LeT commander Naveed Jatt and his associate who were killed in a gunfight with the forces in Budgam district.
An eye witness said the students staged a protest demonstration against the killing of Jatt and his associate who was yet to be identified in a gunfight in Kuthipora village of Chatergam today morning.
The students took out a march on the campus and raised pro-freedom slogans. Later, the students held funeral prayers in absentia for the slain militants.
