JKLF chief Yasin Malik detained in south Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik was arrested on Sunday while he was returning home from south Kashmir.

A spokesman said Malik “has been once again arrested by police when he was returning home from south Kashmir where he had gone to expresses condolences to some bereaved families.”

“Yasin sahib along with vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal and zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri have been lodged at police station Sangam now,” said the spokesman.

Malik was released yesterday after 10 days of incarceration. “JKLF strongly condemns this arrest,” he said.
