ANANTNAG: In connection with International Volunteers Day, a grand function was held here in town hall Anantnag today to discuss the role of volunteers for making a better society.
Speakers on the occasion stressed upon the need of volunteering during emergencies and catastrophic situations.
On the occasion, ADC Anantnag, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat, who was the Chief Guest of the function, said that we all should volunteer ourselves for social work and should inculcate the spirit of Voluntarism among youth, adding that district administration is putting all possible efforts in encouraging volunteers and voluntarily organizations.
