AWANTIPORA: The Students Of Islamic University & Science & Technology (IUST) on Monday demanded “justice” after the university disallowed them to sit for the examinations.

The Students of CSE 8Th semester have their examination scheduled today but the university has asked to stay Back home & ‘not come for the examinations as they have a shortage of attendance’.

The students said that due to the prevailing situation in south Kashmir students are unable to attend the classes most of the times due to the volatile situation in South Kashmir.

Students said that due to the constant gunfights, civilian killings followed by shutdowns in the Shopian district, the students fail to make it to the university most of the times.

A Student from Pulwama has accused the IUST authorities of playing with their future.

The students have asked the IUST authorities to have mercy on them and allow them writing exams.
