NEW DELHI: Keeping in view the prevailing situation in Afghanistan, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Tuesday said it had worked out new category of electronic visa to fast-track their applications for entry into India.
A senior MHA official said, “The Ministry has reviewed the existing visa provisions in the country. In view of the current situation in Afghanistan, a new category of electronic visa called “e-Emergency X-Misc Visa” has been introduced to fast-track visa applications for entry into India.”
The government has already announced that it will allow people belonging to non-Muslim minority of Afghanistan to come to India and also those who are friends of India.
