NEW DELHI: Retired Major General Gagandeep Bakshi G. D. Bakshi said that if I was the commander of Army right now in Kashmir, I will open fire open on stone pelters.
During the live debate on Aaj Tak TV channel Bakshi said “If I was the commander of army at this time in Kashmir I will shot open fire open youth who are pelting stone upon security forces.
He added that Mehbooba Mufti is responsible for this situation in Kashmir.
Meanwhile Jammu and Kashmir Police made announcements near the gunfight site in Pulwama urging the local youth to leave the encounter site following clashes.
“Your lives are precious. Your parents are waiting for you at your respective homes. Please leave the spot and return to your homes,” a policeman is heard appealing the youth.
The youth in turn raised slogans “Ye Kashmir Hamara hai Iska Faisla Hum Karenge; Jaish Kas Mujahido hum tumharey saath hain.”
