DODA: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gandoh, Dr Pritam Lal Thapa, today chaired a meeting to discuss the arrangements for celebration of Independence Day, 2021.
Tehsildar, SDPO, Assistant Commandant SSB, and other sectoral officers and Officials attended the meeting.
It was decided that the main I-Day function would be held at helipad Gandoh where the National Flag will be unfurled by the chief guest followed by March Past by the contingents, which would be followed by a limited number of cultural items in view of the Covid-19 pandemic .
In view of Covid-19 pandemic, the Independence Day would be celebrated with limited gathering and in strict adherence to social distancing norms and wearing of masks.
The BMO was directed to ensure proper implementation of COVID-19 SOPs besides emergency healthcare arrangements at the venue on rehearsal and national day function.
