JAMMU: ICDS Project Marh organised Poshan Abhiyaan Awareness Programme and Poshan Rally as part of POSHAN PAKHWADA, here at Mankanta Palace, Harsa Tokerian ,Marh.
The event was held under the overall supervision of CDPO Marh, Dr. Sakshi Mahajan, while Mission Director, ICDS, J&K Nitu Gupta was chief guest and Deputy Director, ICDS, Jammu, Atul Kumar, SDM Marh, Nasir Ali, DDC Member Marh, Balbir Lal, BDC Chairman Marh, Surinder Kumar, Shruti Uppal Coordinator one stop centre Jammu and Dr. Pratishta from BMO OFFICE Marh were special guests.
The event unfolded with the lightening of Lamp followed by a cultural Programme highlighting the importance of right Nutrition, ”Kuposhan Mukt Bharat” and “Anemia Protection in women of reproductive age”.
In his address, the Mission Director, stressed upon the role of ICDS functionaries in achieving goal of Malnutrition free India. He enlightened ICDS functionaries and masses on “Poshan Tracker App”.
Smartphones were also distributed among the AWWs of ICDS Project Marh in the presence of the Mission Director ,ICDS , J&K.
Awareness Programme was followed by the flagging of “Poshan Rally” by the chief guest comprising Anganwadi workers, Helpers and officials of ICDS Marh.
The event concluded with the vote of thanks by CDPO Marh and pledge by masses to realize the dream of “Kuposhan Mukt Bharat”
