Dr. Saurabh, Head, School of Business, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, J&K was the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker in the Webinar on Social Entrepreneurship held of 24th June 2020 hosted by  Department of Management Sciences, Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology, Othakalmandapam Post, Coimbatore.

Dr. Saurabh, in his lecture, focused on providing valuable information on social entrepreneurship and how it will help our country, state’s and people’s development. He explained how social entrepreneurship is one of the important dimensions, which helps to design our country, states’ and people’s development, specifically in the current context.

He discussed about Indian design of social entrepreneurship in development discourse specifically in India. With certain examples, he explained the basic prospect of the entrepreneurship culture of a community or social responsibility.

He said that when the world is looking forward for the development of India, which can be a potential base for the hope of economic growth, it is necessary to build in the necessary steps for the integrated growth and development of society.

He explained the divine design of social entrepreneurship and said that the concept of social entrepreneurship provides for “udyam with dharma” – dharma is everything with a view of virtue, nurturing, increase prospering, enhancing all living being and securing themselves.
