Hanfia Islamia school Wuyan Pampore celebrates Seerat conference/Annual Day

PAMPORE: A seerat conference cum Annual Day was observed at Hanfia Islamia High School at Syed Mehmoodabad Wuyan, Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Hundreds of students of the school participated in the function. The program began on 27th of April and concluded on 28 of April (Sunday).

The Seerat Conference was held to highlight the doctrines and the life of Prophet Muhammad (Sallahu Allaihi Wasalam).

The event was attended by the celebrated genius and religious scholars namely Molvi Irfan Ahmad Sofi, Molvi Bilal Ahmad Kumar, and Tauseef Ahmad Wani, and above all the students, who graced the occasion by their refined words and wisdom, school officials told.

Similarly, the annual day was celebrated on 28th April with utmost pomp and show. The main motto behind this event was to showcase the cultural heritage of Kashmir. The students took part in various items with full zeal and enthusiasm.

The event was graced by the esteemed guests namely Dr. Niyaz Ahmad Rather (Assistant Professor Physics IUST), Mr Sarwar Ahmad (Assistant Professor SKUAST Kashmir),Mr Javeed Ahmad Bhat (Government Teacher), Mr. Muzafar Ahmad (Lecturer APS Srinagar), Mr. Imtiyaz Ahmad (Government Teacher), Mr Sajad Ahmad (Government Teacher), Dr. M. Iqbal Rather (Assistant Professor GDC Bijbehara). The School annual report was presented by the School management and the Principal, school officials said.

The event concluded with the prize distribution in which meritorious students were bestowed with different awards in order to encourage them to keep the same zeal in the forthcoming events also.
