Srinagar: In a scathing attack on Congress and National conference, PDP President and former Chief Minster Mehbooba Mufti had said that Article 370 was weakened by Congress and National Conference and added that both parties were now shedding crocodile tears and befooling Kashmiris.
Mehbooba while Speaking to media said that it was Congress Chief Minister in 2008 G. N Azad who vandalised Article 370 by alloting thousands of kanals to Amarnath Shrine board at Pahalgam.
She said only PDP resisted the move and now the congress was lecturing about 370 and 35-A. She also lashed out at National conference and said it was this party that allowed the replacement of Prime Minister’s post with Chief Minister.
The PDP President who is seeking a mandate for parliament from South Kashmir seat claimed that only she was fighting to save 370 and 35_A and added that for two years she fought and saves 370 and 35-A.
Mehbooba also said that if Prime Minister was considering Kashmir a burden, he must leave it.
“Why should he live with the burden. Let them leave it.” Said Mehbooba when asked about her reaction to PM’s alleged remark.
